First and foremost, life is too short to not do the things you want to do in life. Even the simple things that make us happy shouldn’t be discounted like, resting, watching tv, writing, snuggling, listening to the rain, indulging in our favorite foods once in a while, taking a nap, letting the laundry go for a day or two, reading, and just thinking.
You’d be surprised how replenished you can feel just by doing those simple things that do not cost a cent.
Don’t feel guilty about living the life that you want and what makes you feel good.
There is a lot to be said in those numbers. That is my blood pressure. One year ago today it was 199/100. I had an ekg done, stress test, and a numerous amounts of other tests. It all boiled down to my lifestyle which consisted of a tremendous amount of stress and a poor diet. So what I did was eliminate the stressors that caused me to “stress out” and I changed my diet.
It has been one week and two days since I’ve been off my Bystolic (BP) medicine and it is still down.
The reason why I am so ecstatic over this is because my sister died at the age of 47 and ultimately it was stress and her lifestyle that robbed her life at such a young age. I couldn’t do that to my kids so I knew I had to change something and I did.
I can’t finish this up now because Mike is picking us up and we are going to the mall and I have a ton more to say! But I hope you are all well out there xo
I stepped out of the box and splurged on a new set of dishes from the Dollar Tree. The brand though is Royal Norfolk which I’m really surprised because I think that is a pretty good quality dish? Eh maybe I’m wrong and I want to believe I got a steal but whatever anyway. I love them and they are different then anything I would buy. Out with the old in with the new.
I seriously have no business being on here. I’m behind on my schoolwork and I skipped interning today. Arrghh my bad. It was just one of those days.
I went for my regular checkup and the good news was I am off my BP medicine for the time being well until he checks it next week to make sure my BP stays down and I lost 15 lbs since September. Wooo hooo! The bad news is I have two cyst on my wrist which is causing my arm to go numb and the other bad news is I don’t have health insurance to have them removed. Oh well. I don’t think I’m alone on that one.
Anyway that’s it for now. I have to get going on my chores blah.
