Well today was the day, I gave in to a pair of sneaks that were a little over my budget but hopefully will be worth the investment. I am on my feet all day long and comfort is soooo important to me. I invested in a pair of Allbirds sneakers. They’re called the Tree skippers. I got them in white and should be here in a few days.
Seriously, instead of buying crap lol its well worth it to invest in a great pair of shoes. All though I love my sketchers, I felt like trying out something new for a changes.
As soon as I get them and give them a test run, I will let you all know.
It’s really simple. What holds us back from moving forward, taking that chance, or making a life change? Fear right?
Fear holds us back from more than we realize. For some of us fear can play a part in the simplest tasks. For starters, putting our two feet on the floor when we wake up in the morning. There is always something out there we dread that has to be dealt with in our day right?
Try this(myself included), start off with just today by saying no or not doing something with you are uncomfortable with, without feeling bad or guilty.
Little steps are a great way to get going on defeating what’s holding you back.
Consciously make an effort and take note on everything and every little feeling, like the pit in your stomach feeling, when you have to make a choice on what YOU want to do. Just say no. It’s really not that hard. Remember baby steps.
Good luck today. I’d like to hear what you decided not to do today and how it felt to say no. Even if you say no to one thing, that is a great start.
First and foremost, life is too short to not do the things you want to do in life. Even the simple things that make us happy shouldn’t be discounted like, resting, watching tv, writing, snuggling, listening to the rain, indulging in our favorite foods once in a while, taking a nap, letting the laundry go for a day or two, reading, and just thinking.
You’d be surprised how replenished you can feel just by doing those simple things that do not cost a cent.
Don’t feel guilty about living the life that you want and what makes you feel good.
